Say No to Old Age Home........

;">"Call me to lock the gates of this place when you close down" this is line said by Mr M.K.Gandhi when he was called for inauguration of an old age home.Lets ask ourselves a question do we require old age home to keep our parents there or for that matter even our in-laws.But lets think well before giving an answer to this question.

In today's world we all work like in the sense even the women of the house works and have very less time. She needs to manage the home front and office front.There is hardly anyone in the home who could take care of old ones int he house. But it doesn't mean that you should keep them in old age homes.They ask for some time from you.And why they should not. They have given the most precious years of life when you were young.

Long time back I heard about a story.A old man asks his son several times hat is that on the tree branch outside the window.His son answered him coolly for 4-5 times.At that time the old man said I had answered you the same question 23 times when you were kid and that too without shouting.Old age just another childhood and just the roles are shifted.Now you are the parents of your old mom and dad.

I really feel sorry for all those people who have to stay in old age homes.Why do we forget the sacrifices they have done for us?Why do we abandon them when they need the most?I don't have much to sya on this. But we all need to take call on our own about this subject.I think one day all the old age homes should be closed.DO let me know what views all you reader have got on this.

These days I strongly feel that though keeping up with growing technology I still see some generation gap with respect to thought line with new generations. This generation is real lucky with respect to all technology but what they have not grasped is accepting rejection in any sort, whether the rejection is about getting something from parent or rejection for love proposal.
